What we do

Two programs.
One mission.

UWSA supports athletes at different stages of their journey, from gaining access to sport to pursuing higher levels of competition.

Youth Access
Program

Opening the Door to Sport

The Youth Access Program helps youth from low-income families, foster families, and families experiencing financial hardship access organized sports when cost might otherwise stand in the way. Financial assistance helps offset expenses such as training, equipment, and participation costs, giving athletes the chance to train, grow, and experience the benefits of sport.

Competitive Athlete
Program

Developing Potential at a Higher Level

The Competitive Athlete Program identifies and supports athletes who demonstrate exceptional potential, commitment, work ethic, and character. Through high-level training, mentorship, and support for competition-related expenses, UWSA helps athletes continue developing and pursue competition at higher levels.

Our Approach

01

IDENTIFY & DEVELOP

Identify high-potential athletes and develop their abilities through dedicated scouting and advanced training.

02

PROVIDE SUPPORT

Develop character through education, mentorship, and access to resources that strengthen athletes throughout their growth.

03

REMOVE BARRIERS

Reduce financial barriers and create pathways for athletes to pursue their potential and find success in sport and beyond.

Why it matters

Talent is everywhere.
Access is not.

Potential should not be limited by a family’s financial circumstances.

Access to quality training, equipment, competition, and mentorship can shape how far an athlete is able to go. UWSA helps bridge that gap, giving athletes the support to keep progressing and the chance to see where their ability can take them.
